Next August may seem a long time ahead, but planning your Trade Stands early saves the last minute panic booking.
Last year’s show suffered badly from the torrential rain, but many stalwarts stayed the course and told me they enjoyed it! We also missed having the sheep and alpacas because of the foot and mouth scare, but the horse entries were as popular as ever, and the Pets & Poultry seemed unaffected. The new arrangement housing the Horticultural and Craft entries in the one large tent worked well, with more room for everyone.
This year it is planned to group all the food and catering stalls in one area of the showground to create a ‘Food Village’.
Costs for Trade Stands will remain the same as last year at £2.75 per foot, with a minimum charge of £27.50. Charities will continue to pay a nominal £5.00 but for a maximum frontage of 12 ft. Extra space available but at the standard rate per foot. Tables, chairs and sun/rain awnings will not be provided. Payments are non-refundable unless the show is cancelled.

Please return your completed Application Form and payment, plus the Risk Assessment Form, to me no later than 2 nd August 2008. All bookings and payments will be acknowledged, and entry passes and further information will be sent before the show.
The showground opens at 0730 hrs on the day, and the show starts at about 1030 hrs.
