The Pet Show is now a well established annual feature and entries are invited from both children (under 14s) and adults, with classes ranging from the usual rabbits and guinea pigs to reptiles, insects and unusual pets - which in the past have included a giant snail and a magnificent toad. Ray Vincent, our Judge, gives every entry careful consideration and he is particularly impressed when children have put obvious effort into describing their pet, its habits and characteristics. The public is also invited, and sometimes fiercely lobbied, to vote for their favourite pet - the lucky owner getting awarded the Springfield Cup.
